Anticipation.

Gleaming with anticipation, I have won! I have won the battles of my day. There was a greedy darkness lurking over me slowly filling himself with my weakness bite by bite. I have played every role I could think of to play but I finally found the one I was destined to be. I have waited with anticipation, trying to solve scenarios in my head with unsolvable equations but today glory is mine it shines from within every so brightly, even blinding. The woman was visible, apparent with power and pride as she walked that old dusty road just as she did when she was a child but she was no longer that girl. I clenched my fists in triumph that had been long awaited and embraced it with grace. The clouds parted and the brilliant shine of the spring sun was shimmering on my cheekbones as the woman arose. As I stood tall and confident I felt my insides collide, for so long now I have waited for my mind, heart and appearance to align and today that is exactly what they did. I felt strength where I once felt weakness, courage in a moment of freight, a calm in the midst of the storm and happiness replaced my anger.
